Three Questions Class 7 | Question Answer
Speaking and Writing
- Imagine you are the king. Narrate the incident of your meeting the hermit.
Answer:
The wise men answered my questions, but I was not satisfied with their answers. One day I decided to go and meet the hermit. I left behind my guards and put on simple clothes so that he would not recognize me as the king.
When I reached the hermit’s hut, I saw him digging the ground. He looked tired and weak, but he continued to work. I greeted him and asked my three questions, but he did not answer and kept digging.
Feeling pity for him, I took the spade from his hand and started digging the ground myself. After digging for some time, I repeated my questions, but he still did not reply. Just then, a man came running, wounded and bleeding. I helped the hermit dress his wound, and we both took care of the man till he recovered. That meeting changed my life forever.
- Imagine you are the hermit. Write briefly the incident of your meeting the king.
Answer:
One day I was digging in my garden. A man in ordinary clothes came to see me. I knew it was the king, but I pretended not to recognize him. He asked me three questions, but I remained silent and continued digging.
He took the spade from my hands and began digging the ground himself. He repeated his questions, but I still gave no reply. I wanted him to learn the answers through experience, not words.
While we were working, a wounded man came running. The king helped me bandage his wound and stayed up with him the whole night. In that moment, the king found the answers to his questions — the right time is now, the most important person is the one you are with, and the most important task is to do good to others.
