Tense kya hota hai क्या होता है?
Tense का अर्थ होता है — काल।
सरल शब्दों में कहें तो Tense (काल) हमें यह बताता है कि कोई काम कब हुआ, कब हो रहा है या कब होगा और उसकी स्थिति क्या है।यह क्रिया (Verb) का वह रूप है जो समय के साथ बदलता रहता है।
मुख्य रूप से Tense तीन प्रकार के होते हैं:
Tense के कितने प्रकार होते हैं?
English Grammar में Tense के 3 main types होते हैं:
- Present Tense (वर्तमान काल)
जिससे पता चले कि काम अभी होता है, होता रहता है या हो चुका है।
जो समय अभी चल रहा है।
- उदाहरण: मैं खाता हूँ। (I eat.)
- Past Tense (भूतकाल)
जो समय बीत चुका है।
- उदाहरण: मैंने खाया। (I ate.)
- Future Tense (भविष्य काल)
जो समय आने वाला है।
- उदाहरण: मैं खाऊँगा। (I will eat.)
और हर Tense के 4 sub-parts होते हैं:
हर मुख्य Tense को गहराई से समझने के लिए चार भागों में बाँटा गया है:
- Indefinite (अनिश्चित): जब समय तय न हो (जैसे- आदतें या सामान्य तथ्य)।
- Continuous (निरंतर): जब काम चल रहा हो।
- Perfect (पूर्ण): जब काम पूरी तरह खत्म हो चुका हो।
- Perfect Continuous: जब काम पिछले कुछ समय से शुरू होकर अब भी जारी हो।
यानि कुल = 3 × 4 = 12 Tenses

Tense पहचानने की आसान Trick
सबसे पहली Trick:
Hindi sentence के आख़िरी शब्द (ending words) देखो।
जैसे:
- जाता है
- जा रहा है
- जा चुका है
- जाता था
- जाएगा / जाएगा
यहीं से 80% tense पता चल जाता है।
Present Tense पहचानने की Trick
